Dr Swapna Pandurangi was born on 23 November 1985 at Sindhanur in Raichur District. She has completed her primary education at Raichur and her high school at KRECS Kittur. She completed her MBBS from Navodaya Medical College Raichur in June 2009 and DPM from SDM Medical College Dharwad affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore in May 2013. She is presently working as Senior Resident in the Department of Psychiatry  DIMHANS Dharwad and Consultant psychiatrist at Dr Anand Pandurangi’s SHREE Psychiatric Centre Dharwad. Her areas of interest include Community Psychiatry and Mental health issues related to women. Dr Swapna has presented posters in National conferences and has many National and International publications to her credit. She has also delivered mental health awareness lectures in various schools and colleges of Hubli and Dharwad. She has also delivered lectures in programs of AIR Dharwad and local news channel.
